I wanted to write about this the moment I received it but didn’t have much time.
Anyhow, the story is like this. One of my college friends, XXX, recently passed away around 1 month back because of motorbike accident. I couldn’t attend the funeral .To cut the story short, he used to be a bit nerd and we used to bully him. No personal insult to my dead friend. That’s his character.
After finishing my college years, we used to be communicating through emails only. Sometimes he would be forwarding some messages from his email. After his death, of course there won’t be any messages from him. But things happened otherwise.
On the 4th Jun, I received an email from my friend, XXX, who passed away the month before. This email had been send to at least 6-7 of my other friends as well who had known him while studying in college.
Of course the moment I received that e-mail, I was shocked. I called up my other friends and told them about this. Further after that, my friends called up XXX parents and told them if any of their family members or others had been using his email. I also checked out his friendster if there is any update and when he last logged in. And sure enough, there were no activities at all.
Few things that bothered me:
1. If indeed someone hacked his mail account, how come they didn’t misuse his friendster account too?
2.How come all of a sudden after 1 month the emails are being sent?
3.All the people that email had gone to were all close friends of him.
Someone must be pranking my friends and me really well. It has really come as a shock.

Someone might be using the anonymous fake mailer to play a prank on you bro. Or it might be the work of some spam bots using some random emails to send out some mails.

there was a lot of issue that spamming goes on with the emails …
i dunno hows the hell spammers can get the password and soo on but its called spamming and the most likely the spamming message would be about things that been sold in china or online trade in china … hav a look at it …
