Bagan Pinang By-Election

  • class="st_sharethis" displayText="Share">

I’ve not written politics for a long time now and below very humble friend of mine had got me started again about the upcoming Bagan Pinang by-election.

This post is by request and a project initiated by Naga(sactyr.blogspot.com) . We have a good number of readers over here and I’m pretty sure some of you can do your part. Your bid to reach the voters in Bagan Pinang may have significant impact on the by-election in Bagan Pinang.

Someone actually initiated this project on FB. But I can’t seem to find the actual link, so I am doing my part now.

Do you know someone in Bagan Pinang? Or in Negeri Sembilan in general?

Call them. Convince them.

Convince them to vote for PAS.

BN is going to go all-outs on this one. They have to desperately win this one. Its going to be uglier than all the previous by-elections. They already have an upper hand – the postal voters.

But we can beat them. We just need to make sure all the registered voters turn out. So call someone you know and convince them.

It seems the opposition leaders can’t use the head-cow case in this by-election; they are afraid of the 20% Indians in Bagan Pinang. So Bagan Pinang folks, Indians or non-Indians, let’s show them why exactly they should be afraid shall we?

Change. It starts with us.

Here’s the thing, i believe it’s up to the individual who they wanna vote for, i believe even opposition has lost it’s charm, to begin with the dramas at penang and than PAS wanna ban concerts, ban beers, ban this, ban that, i don’t see them doing anything for the rakyat! Why not focus on crime rate or rempit or rape or kidnaps and murder? DAP has lost it too, money made them forget promises! Politics in malaysia is bullshit, change is far away and it will only happen with someone who is mentally strong! Not all the punk ass running the states now!

I completely agree with the LB guy above..i voted for the opposition last election, and i was throughly dissapointed. guan eng was ok at the beginning, with his environmental efforts, i salute..bt now, every since the kpg buah pala, he has been rather quiet..
both sides are also exactly the same, once thy ade power sikit, thy sorta lupa diri.whnever there are any major issues, u ask anwars opinion, he will never give a straight answer. he will stay mum..
why should i vote for PAS???they will only further implement dumb n petty things like strengthening their khalwat raids,no concerts unless u r covered frm top to bottom, ensure no beer is sold within 5 km of their area etc etc..

the oppositions, thy should strengthen and form a stable party first, like in britain, whr the oppositions r equally strong and they have a shadow cabinet..
i am dissapointed..just wish there is at least 1 leader i could respect and look up to..
haihh..durai,ive been commenting banyak la on ur blog..haha..am slightly bored in my working place, so just bear me la :)

btw, it is kinda funny~ one of the main reasons ( given by this blog any many many others) of voting for PAS is so that BN doesnt win. its like saying i will kill snow white so that ill be the fairest maiden in the land. this is just a euphemism as thr is no way BN can be any sort of snow white..cheers!

PKR may not have achieved much in such a short stint…the reality is it has been an uphill battle for PKR with the Government still under BN….I Malaysia is becoming a comedy tagline in Malaysia…

    Durai,

No words can describe the situation of politics in our country from scandals about dodgy land deals, secret contracts and lax or non-existent oversight came and went, unexamined. Today an invigorated opposition and an unfettered online media have made apathy and obfuscation harder. Caught in the new spotlight, port officials, politicians and contractors have traded accusations of fraud, corruption and waste.

The fact is, a one-party democracy is not healthy; it is difficult to even call it a democracy if the same party can remain in power forever, no matter how good or bad it may be. And I believe there is reason to look forward to a more democratic future very soon BUT i don’t believe in “Satu Malaysia” neither. Let’s dream on together!!
