I am not condemming anyone but it is an undenialable truth that temples are getting bigger and better….as mentioned ‘cool’ as it has air-condtion! unbelievable…Please please think..gallons of milk thrown willl feed many! Praying is not a crime but while doing too much of it with giving too much to the temples when we could be educating,feeding,clothing and helping many others..
What is ‘THANAM’….What is ‘DHARMAM’….then of course come ‘PUNNIYAM’..so come on folks…give more to the Tamil Indian kids and schools that deserve it ….

Hi friends…there is lot of pro and contra when we discuss about this topic…
My point of view..i guess yes temple is our signature all over the world which make us proud whenever we go but there some source said the the temple is more then the needs of Malaysian Indians people population…and the money we spend over and extra ordinary and we still fighting for the rights of temple..which there keep on build it on border of the road just simply for making money from stupid people out there..I don’t say that we no need temple but guess its more then enough and too much ready..Why not we can come out with normal small temple but build a nice big hall beside the temple which can utilize by our community and at the same time can make money by setup as wedding hall or setup as badminton court and can spend that money too the particular temple what..?????
And without more Indian people population no points build more signature(Temple) in our country especially in our country..actually the richest must have more children compare the poorest…there help Indian community by increase the population which suppose done by rich people…
Back to the school story..again from some of source we shortage of school and there is some potential school is dieing and most of the school is not in good condition event worst…is it the school is not important to show as our signature of the world? how we going to learn our culture and about our temple if don’t have school or is it in Kebangsaan school there will teach about that..? Lets we stop point each others and start something to come out from this darkness…no need build just upgrade the current school to good condition…so more parents will send their kids to school and its will create more quality students…and can come out more richest people with more population and there will take care our signature(Temple) 100 times much more better then now…
Last but not least..yes its their dame rights spending money to what they want spend..but please don’t carry the banner and stand in front government and bagging to the politicians which when he question back about our luxurious temple we will don’t have the answer..upgrade or build our tamil school will create the great future for our Indians….

hah, my comment on your previous entry will be more appropriate here. i read god/edu before i read this article. anyway, i fully agree with you on this matter. i have seen big shots spending lots of money so that they can be the main person to do abhishegam in temples. so that they and their family can have the lead to pray (or something like that -.-!!!). why why why ??? sigh.

I realize that asshole don’t have the best vocabulary when it comes to expressing his views, but the above comments seems to be “fueled” by a few other people. So if you banned axxxxole, you should banned the others to cause they indulge in personal attacks as well. Be fair to all.
Anyway for this topic, I agree where you are coming from, that money and time is better spend on children who will lead the future than a statute in a temple, but my opinion is that much thought is to be put in to what and how a more sustainability and a consistent way to help these children.
