To the poster (previously) known as Asshole,

I'm sorry you got banned. You did provide a bit of fun to the discussions. Some of your points even made sense, in some warped way. I must admit that I found myself agreeing with you most of the time, rather than the rest of the posters.

However, despite agreeing with your points, I can't deny that while making them you sound borderline retarded. I refer to an example - one of your posts in an earlier discussion:

"Asshole
November 25th, 2008 at 11:57 am

Ha ha ha pantai pariah and slim pariah. All this is directed at pariah indians like u guys who eventually end up in lockups or dead on the street. Fuck off u pariah fellows and pariah chicks!!!!!!!!!!!"

Now even you have to admit that you sound like a 13 year old kid who gets bullied all day long in school and comes home and vents his frustrations online like a little homo bitch.

I agree that the people you were talking about were indeed 'pariahs' or of the pariah mentality, but if you really want to get your points across, I suggest you pick up a little class (and some proper grammar)

You're talking to 'tamil pariahs' aren't you, so try to not sound like one of them. Get your points across without incessant name calling and exclamation marks. Pathetic. Attempt a little class, my friend.

Follow my advice and maybe you won't get banned again.

This is not fair!! You shouldn't ban me because others can't take criticism. What happened to freedom of speech. Think of all the creative and informative comments I post. What about all the readers who eagerly wait for my comments. Think of the all children who will miss the opportunity to learn how post creative comment like me. After all the use full information i have posted, now I get banned???

hah, my comment on your previous entry will be more appropriate here. i read god/edu before i read this article. anyway, i fully agree with you on this matter. i have seen big shots spending lots of money so that they can be the main person to do abhishegam in temples. so that they and their family can have the lead to pray (or something like that -.-!!!). why why why ??? sigh.

Ooooo, so sad axxxloe was banned. Durai I understand that it is your blog and you have the authority and the right to supervise it but come on, be fair la. I realize that asshole don't have the best vocabulary when it comes to expressing his views, but the above comments seems to be "fueled” by a few other people. So if you banned axxxxole, you should banned the others to cause they indulge in personal attacks as well. Be fair to all.
Anyway for this topic, I agree where you are coming from, that money and time is better spend on children who will lead the future than a statute in a temple, but my opinion is that much thought is to be put in to what and how a more sustainability and a consistent way to help these children.

Good Morning Sri,
I'm aware of what you trying to say,i fully agreed that giving
more money on the archanai or other ways unnecessary to bribe priest from doing their honourable service to the worshippers,if you see my earliar comments ,i don't agreed temple being built in such a fancy way to attract more tourist than devotees,
Helping indian students and charities are also one way of worshipping God, by helping fellow brothers and sisters who are in a less fortunate than us it's every indian duty to do that,
but not in a expense of temple ,we need temple to identify ourselves that we belong to one of the oldest faith on earth, this is our ways ,temple, scriptures, customs ,languages and many more...
Helping our students and protecting and maintaining temple worship should be hand in hand and not to destroy one to protect another

@Malaysian66
i agree with some of ur views. however, spending for temple has gt out of hand. nothin wrong in donating their money to temple, but do it wen necessary. dun hav to fork out rm10 durin aarthi. 1 or 2 ringgit will do. temples earn their money through 'aarchanai' & other means anyway. giv the remaining 8-9 ringgit to d poor. the vedas u talk abt never mentioned abt giving money in loads to the temple. on the other hand, scripture like mahabharat mentions abt charity.and for d questions u asked, it cn b solved through education. n yes we cn afford tamil schools. we shud help any schools in bad condition as a matter of fact.
