Sikhism does not have a caste system. This probably to the influence of Islam. Sikhs are also identical to Pakistani Punjabis except that the Sikhs are not Muslims! They are also an ethno-religious community in themselves and hence do not interfere in Malaysian Tamil politics. Their diet, customs and language is totally alien to Tamil way of life. People like Samy Vellu who was supported by Malaysian Tamils for several decades went out of his way to keep them out of MIC.

Of all the comments on this issue of pariah tamils, I am only too happy to say that the only person who made sense was ALAN Well done and my high regards for your very practical thinking. Every WELL READ Indian knows that all the Indians, right up from Punjab in north to Tamil Nadu in the South have their own lower caste community, muslims, christians, hindus, sikhs and Budhists which was in effect since time immorial. Make no mistake about what I’m going to say cos I’ve travelled the world over and to the rest of the world they know India only as India and the people as Indians. Malayalees, Tamils, Telugus, Punjabis and even Jaffna tamils from whom I have friends are good people. Msian tamils of about 70 per cent could have gone astray as they were the uderprivelaged people imported by the British to work as laboures in this country and being the underprivelaged, they lacked education and the good things in live which resulted in them turning to a questinable livelihood. Which the upper caste indians brand them as “Pariah”. Every Indian of good stead should try to help and aid them to whatever level he or she can. Do not downtrod them witnessed by the other M’sian races cos by downtrodding them you downtrod yourself. Just like you spitting at the sky
and getting yourself spat. I am an Indian of tamil origin born in M’sia and 60 yrs young. I hv relatives Jaffnese tamils, Melayu, Telugus, Punjabis, Malayalees, Norwegians, Portuguese and of course Tamils. The world my friends in about one hundred years from now will be BORDERLESS and that is when you will know the colour of the skin means nothing as everybody will look alike.

I am a Malayalee by birth and I have not received any preferential treatments for that thus far. Nor will I get if I die today and go to heaven! So, what is great about being a Malayalee or any other so called high castes. Reiterating the fact that I am a Malayalee, I detest the fact that Malayalees look down on the Tamilians. i have longed at times of not being a Tamilian for their language and kalai panpaadu! We have to admit that all south indian languages are from Tamil. Thank God that my fiancee is not a Malayalam, at least I could play my part to break these caste based craps!Besides, I am very priviledged to have parents who taught us to see and mix with people based on values and not caste nonsenses!

When I read that blog, instantly I felt my ears going hot due to anger. Then I realised, that if I do get angry and react to that, then I am actually letting that brainless most probably ugliest looking creature to get better than me. So I didn’t. Instead I laughed. I laughed so loud at the level of stupidity of this person. I never knew people can be so dammed stupid. The term brainless was misuesed on all others except this one. And the fact that I rationalized my action means that I am far better than some mud dweller. And of course nothing that we say or write is going to have an impact on him/her/unknown as only you first and foremost need a brain to think.

So instead i congratulate you. Because you decided to be mature about this instead of being emotional, which is what the other person is.

Slandering a community does not show greatness. Instead it shows how shallow and rotten is the person.

For that I thank god that he did not create a world full of this vile people.
