World is changing my dear Greenclover. What you saw/experienced is because of upbringing la. In most low/middle class family, the mothers spoil their sons by not letting them do anything. His mother and sisters do everything for him, evne though he is an adult. THe only thing they dont do is wash his dick/ass after he has finished his business (even then I am not sure abt this)- so these are the men you see, who expect to be waited hand and foot. But now things are changing. I am like bro MyNameisManofPeople – we do everything for ourselves and for our wives (fyi – my wife prefers my style of ironing cf to hers)

Do you know top designers in the world are men? Do you know what was crossing in their mind when they designed miniskirts, high heels etc? Because thats what attracts men. It is for the same reason you buy those clothes. Not for your own satisfaction. What satisfaction do you get wearing a skirt shorter than your knee? If you can explain that in detail and if its valid, I would probably accept your argument.

Well well well, dont we have interesting blog and its remarks over here. My overall feeling of this is that GreenClove had a bad experience. and I have to agree most of the comments done by @Maya and @Kumar.
I think GreenClove had her wires mixed up…and I mean badly. First your assumption that man wants woman to do all the housework, look after the kids, clean, cook etc whilst they sit having their beer or out with their friends. Or the fact that they are not equally respected at work then man. You are right in some cases, that the women are more intelligent than the man – hence you have more women in universities. Question is, how good are you in putting that “intelligence” in real time perspective? Statistics shows very seldom. I am a Team Leader trainer and I have seen for myself, that in the real world, men applies more practical knowledge than theoractical. There were situations where I have seen a man taking action in split seconds to save the business, on the hand a woman takes 5 mins to do the same – the difference is, the women does it better (for sure!) but that 5 mins had already cost the company a loss in business. This are just examples.
The situation of why an Imam should be a man or a pandaram/gurrukal should be a man? This is nothing (maybe to some aspect) got to that a gurrukal performs the prayers without a top, where else you cant expct a woman to do the same (or it will be a big distraction to all men praying, consequtively making the temple very famous)…but its more that what you said, that your arse (by the way its your vagina) bleeds once a month, and its considered dirty. Now before you shoot me about what is it being dirty and all that, I dont want to go into medical explanation – all you need ot know is that its dirty, and you need to be in a peace/relax/cleansing mind to perform prayers and no woman in periods could achieve that.
In addition to that, maybe its in your household – maybe your dad sits at home watching tv, whilst your mum slaving to cook, look after you, clean and you feel sympathy for that. Its the same in my household, except that my dad has brought me up such a way that I can cook, I clean, I can wash my clothes, dry them and iron them – and yes, I do the same for myself and my wife! If you want equal oppurtunities, you should seek equal oppurtunities in everything. Would you climb a on a roof to fix a leak? Would you jump start your car without extra help? Would you change a burnt bulb in your house? Would you be in a construction site, sitting on top of one of those machines, to dig holes/etc? Thats why you differ from us. You dont have the mental strength to do those things. Instead, God gave you other things which would be beneficial in life. You are more soft. Like you said, you are more intelligent, so you can think more wisely for your family. You are the mother, a girl turns to when she has “women” problems. Do you see a girl going up to her father asking sensitive things? YOu have more patience. You dont see us guys fighting for the same thing you have. But does all this makes you a lesser of a person than man? You were built with your strengths and weaknesses and we are built with our strengths and weaknesses. Have you ever heard for every man’s success, there is woman behind it? Why do you think there is such a saying?
And sorry, dont go on attacking Maya just because she speaks the reality and I thought it was pretty petty that you judged her badly, especially the part where you wrote, “why are you playing with computers? Its a man thing” – fyi, there was a study if computers are a he or a she, and its declared as he. (ok ok, if you want equal oppurtunities, then laptop is a she!!) – so that explains why maya is on the computers.
When you write a blog, defend it intelligently, accept some remarks, give your rebuttal smartly – then your blog is worth reading.
And accept what the world is right now – if one man sleeps with 10 women, he is a playboy/stud. One girl sleeps with 10 men, she is a slut. THis is nothing got to do with Indians…this is a general aspects of human being and science.
