………………………
I was extremely busy past weekend with my certification exam which I failed miserably, my cousins wedding and the charity. Past week was one of the busiest week in my life.
It is without a doubt that almost everyone loves kids. As preplanned earlier, through Sai Fund, we successfully organized another event for the primary school students of SJKT Pulau Carey Timur. It was a wonderful event filled with fun and laughter, albeit the fact that we were in short of volunteers. The event was from Saturday to Sunday (30th of April to 1 May). We decided to do something different with your money this time, which was to organize a yoga class for the students, and to do mural painting around the school walls.
We owe the MAYI (Malaysian Association of Yoga Instructor) big thanks for sending up qualified kids yoga instructors, who were kind enough to travel all the way from Damansara for 2 days, to teach these poor kids the art of Yoga. And best of all, it’s FREE! On the other hand, Sai Fund team consisted of Preeta, Dinesh, Sharon, Kannan, Melissa, and me.
The event started off as early as 9 pm on the first day, with Ms Surya teaching Yoga to the kids. It was an event filled with fun, so much fun it can’t be described by words alone. You just have to be there to watch the kids doing some funny acrobatic moments, but surely the activity helped to put a huge smile of satisfaction on those kids face.
The yoga instructors were kind and patient enough to control the kids. Meanwhile on the other hand, we started painting some designs on the walls, and sad fact is we did not even have enough volunteers. We struggled to maintain both the activity at the same time, plus preparing the food and drinks for the kids.
Since the Yoga instructors left the school early, we still had lots of time with the kids. This was filled in by Bro Dinesh who helped to organize some fun events for the kids with the help of Preeta.
On the second day, we handed over some souvenirs to the volunteers from MAYI , and to the president and founder of MAYI, Master Manisekaran. We completed the mural painting on the second day, and after bidding farewell to the kids, we left the school with complete satisfaction.
A big personal thanks on my behalf to Preeta, Sharon,Bro Dinesh who came all the way from Kuala Selangor, Melissa and Kannan. I would also like to thank all of you for consistently donating towards a better future for these small kids. May peace be with all.
I do not want to drag you with words; here are some of the raw pictures from the event. I’ll post more in the future.

Durai,
I have enrolled myself in via the site you gave couple of days ago, and there seems to be no response as yet. If you could keep me informed on the upcoming event – that would be very much appreciated. Also, should you guys need help in organising the event, do not hesitate to contact me. You know how to get in touch. -Looking forward for one soon..
